Salomn 1080 Foil Ski Sizing

10/9/2008 | 0 comments

My son is about 5' 8" 140 lbs. He needs new skis. I found a pair of salomon 1080 foils 158cm on craig's list. That's up to his nose but I wonder if sizing is different for twin tips.

I am looking to find some information on twin-tip skis. I am an advanced snowboarder who is looking to get a ski for park riding. My goal in getting them is to learn aerials and work in the pipe. The biggest concern that I have is length.

Can't Decide What Size of Twin Tip Ski to Get

10/8/2008 | 0 comments

hi, i need some help choosing a ski. I'v narrowed my choices down to the armada el rey, k2 silencer and the rossignol scratch scream in's. I'm planning on getting the rossignol scratch scream in's. I'm 173cm and about 150 ~ 160 pounds. I spend half the day on groomers/pow and the other half in the park. I'm just beginning to learn to ride in the park. so I'm a bit of a park newbie.

Female Skier Looking for Mogul Skis

10/1/2008 | 0 comments

I've been skiing for about 22 years and consider myself to be an advanced skier. I tend to stick to groomed runs but I am venturing to new territory and trying to become better at moguls. I am looking at new skis for this new adventure and was wondering if a pair of K2 Burnin Luvs 153cm would fit this different terrain?

Moving more towards park skis, what size should I get?

Hi Genius! :) I have a question about ski sizing. I've been skiing all mnt for a few years and would consider myself an advanced level. I am currently moving more towards park and pipe. So I am thinking of getting a pair of twin tips (K2 PE or Dynastar's Notin' but trouble). What size skis should I get? I am: 6' 0'' 185 lb male ski level: 3+ on the scale 0-5 mostly ski at: southern California resorts and Tahoe at times Looking forward to hear from you!

What Size of Armada El Reys Should I Get?

I am looking at getting a new pair of skis for the winter and I'm wondering what size I would need. I'm looking at a pair of Armada El Reys. I'm guessing I'd need a size 171 or 178 but I'm looking for a bit of advice on what size would be best. I'm 5'10" and weigh 150 pounds. I ski a lot in the park and will be skiing a considerable amount of backcountry this season as well. Lemme know what you think. Thanks a lot!

Looking for a Wide, Symmetrical Twin Tip Park Ski

Hey guys, I heard about you in a yahoo awnser and decided to check it out. Heres my situation: I am looking to buy a wide park ski that excels all over the mountain. Fully symmetrical is a big plus too, cause I'll be riding switch a lot. So, my first thought was the line anthems.

Twin Tip Ski Sizing and Binding Location

I have been skiing for 12 years (since I was 4) and consider myself an advanced skier. I've almost always skied on short racing skies on mostly hard-packed and slushy snow. I very rarely ski in powder. I'm looking into getting a pair of skies with the bindings mounted in the center of the ski (rather than towards the back) and learning park. I was wondering if the sizing for these types of skies are different because there is less ski in front of the binding.

Switching From Ski Blades to Regular Skis

hi, for the past two years i have been skiing with ski blades. i loved them until the bindings started to become a hassle and would always break. now i am going back into the regular skis. i do like to do a lot park, but i also love to coast through powder and glades. i have found a pair of skis which i think i really like. i dont know if they are meant to leave the park though. they are called the Line Anthems.
