CamelBak Groove Insulated Water Bottle Review

Camelbak Groove Filter Water Bottle"Tap water in. Freshly filtered water out."With the Groove by Camelbak you can rest assured knowing you can roam anywhere and have fresh tasting water. You may even find you get the most use out of it around the office to make that upside-down jug of water taste good.

To clarify, the Groove does not purify non-potable water. Rather, it filters out chlorine, bad tastes and horrible odors from treated potable water. This is all accomplished due to a small, plant-based carbon filter being embedded in the straw of a Camelbak water bottle. With a filtering capacity of 48 gallons, or 3.5 bottles daily for 3 months, the Groove potentially reduces the waste of 375 disposable water bottles. Also, with a full retail cost of $30 for the bottle and $5 per replacement filter, you are saving money by not buying filtered water in disposable bottles. The insulated version of the groove not only keeps your water cooler longer, but it also reduces condensation from forming on the outside of your bottle. Other nice features include: a lifetime warranty, easy setup and use, 100% BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and an easy to carry looped handle.

Traveling from one adventure to the other usually takes you through some areas where tap water is questionable at best and making sure you stay hydrated is easier when your water tastes good. Get Groovin'.

Genius Features: Clean, fresh taste. BPA free. Camelbak reliability.

Not so Genius Features: Remembering to keep filters changed.
